Your new trick

I love watching you and Dad play together, and I love seeing little bits of your personality come out! You are so much fun already... you are the best entertainment ever!

I don't want to forget...

I feel like the title of this entry may get used over, and over, and over again... but that's ok. Here is a quick list of some cute and funny things that you do:

- When you smile, you crinkle your nose.

- You love looking at ceiling fans, and sometimes you talk to them.

- Every time I walk past you in your bouncer while trying to clean up our house, you get a huge smile on your face and kick your legs like crazy. You make it impossible for me to get any housework done becasue I don't want to do anything else but cuddle and play with you while you're awake. Thank goodness for naps, or our house would never be clean : )

- The first thing that the doctor said to me after you were born was, "WOAH- look at those feet!". You are wearing size 6-12 month socks and you're not even 3 months. Maybe you'll be a swimmer...

- You love smiling and sometimes I'll catch you smiling at me when I wasn't even looking!

- Sometimes your dad and I will let you cry becasue we want to make sure you remember how. You have NEVER been a crier and will only fuss if you're hungry. But, even your "fussing" is cute. It sounds nothing like a baby crying, it's just like a sad face with some whimpers.

- You used to look at my like it was my fault when you tooted becasue it would startle you.

- You love your pacifier. Sometimes you get so desperate for it that you'll throw your head side to side super fast to try and find it... and I just can't get it in your mouth quick enough.

- I think right now, you want to grow up and be a professional stretcher. You stretch constantly during the day and every time we put you on your changing table. Plus, after getting you out of your car seat I have to hold you up in the air so that you can get ALLLL stretched out. I wish I had a picture of you doing that, it's so funny!

You can blame your Grandma...

This outfit was bought by your Grandma Carol... but I'm totally guilty of encouraging the purchase. How could I pass up a little bear outfit for my little dude? I know the older you get... the less willing you'll be to wear this kind of thing- so I need to seize these moments! Besides, you were thrilled about it. Can't you tell by these pictures how much you loved this outfit? Clearly, you were pretty stoked.

It's the little things

I'm sitting next to you on our bed. You've been sucking your pacifier so hard that you have the perfect little outline of it on your face. I love the little things that you do and I don't think you could be any cuter.

Christmas Card 2009

This is the Christmas card that we sent out this year. Your dad designed it, and a friend of ours took the pictures. You're a month old in these pictures, and so sweet. Can't believe you're ours... we love you SO much!

Learning to talk

This is a few days before we left to go see family on the west coast for Christmas. You are just learning to coo and make sounds. I had to cut this video down by a ton becasue it was so long... but the cutest parts are still in it. I can't believe how big you're getting!

1 month old

I love this picture of our family. Your dad and I were on cloud nine with you (we still are). You were one month and a few days in this picture... and still so tiny! We had these pictures taken for your birth announcements, but we ended up just sending it out on our Christmas cards.

Look how sweet you are looking up at us. You melt my heart. Over and over... and over again.
